We will be at the Philadelphia Bike Expo this weekend. Come say hi and see what YellowBird has been up to. On Saturday, we will be releasing the latest DUCHAMP NIGHTCAP in collaboration with Lugs Not Drugs. This limited edition top cap will be the third design we have made together. Our design is inspired by the 1935 Optical Discs (Rotoreliefs) created by Marcel Duchamp. The caps will also come with a Duchamp sticker! Frank from Lugs Not Drugs will be there too with some new products and some very serious stickers with wisdom about life and existence. Deep stuff. We will be at TABLE 9. Something New

YellowBird and **SEND IT SAFELY** have teamed up to bring you the Bigsby Bobsled. This handsome NIGHTCAP exists in two forms. The first is a traditional dark patina sitting down in the detail work to create a flatter look with higher contrast. This gives a more aged look much like the other NIGHTCAPS have. This traditional version can be found here, in the the **YB webstore**. The second option is an exclusive to SEND IT SAFELY. It is called Au Naturale. This series is raw, unfinished brass accompanied by a silver titanium bolt in place of the traditional black. This gives a real bright feel that catches the light beautifully. Just like all NIGHTCAPS, it will change tones and get it’s own patina through use, time and exposure to the elements. The Bigsby Bobsled Au Natural can be found exclusively at **SEND IT SAFELY**.

01.30.2024 - Quick update for those who like to be in the know. I just finished the refresh on this website. There was a lot of clutter and things that didn’t flow at all. I feel pretty good about this new layout. Please let me know if you come across something that doesn’t work as you think it should. Also, as we roll into the new year, YellowBird has been jamming. I am currently at different stages of three different collaboration projects. There are a few others coming down the line as well. I have been doing my best to take this “quiet” part of the season to build up some stock on my more popular top caps and handlebar caps. It feels nice to be getting a head of the curve for a moment. As far as bags go, not much has changed. I am still wanting to make more bags but struggling to find the hours in the day to make it happen. I do have some things in the works, but they are moving along at their own pace. So, that’s about it for now. I hope winter is treating you all ok.

2023 International Coffee Outside Day

THIS SUNDAY IS INTERNATIONAL COFFEE OUTSIDE DAY. RIDE WITH GPS STARTED THIS HOLY DAY LAST YEAR. ALL OVER, PEOPLE GET TOGETHER AND RIDE THEIR BIKES TO THEIR FAVORITE SPOTS AND MAKE SOME COFFEE. wHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT? SO, THIS YEAR YELLOW BIRD WILL BE HOSTING A MELLOW PEDAL INTO THE WOODS TO GO SIT IN THE DIRT, LOOK AT THE LAKE AND DRINK SOME COFFEE. UPDATE: I Just got home from the MADE BIKE SHOW in Portland, OR. I’m still processing all of the bikes, people, conversations and over the top details I got to see and check out. It left me feeling absolutely overwhelmed and inspired. It also cleaned me out of almost all of my top caps and bar plugs that i had in inventory. That’s pretty cool! Fortunately, I ordered twelve feet of brass bar before I left and it was waiting for me when I returned. So I should be filling inventory back in pretty quick. I do have a bunch of emails waiting for me and I am still packing up international orders. I am so thrilled by everyone’s patience, enthusiasm and support! Now I am going to go take a nap.
